Sales Director – £90K–£100K + Uncapped Commission – Uk (Remote)

Salary: £90k–£100k + uncapped commission
Location: Remote, UK

We’re partnering with an established international research and insights organisation looking to strengthen its UK presence with the appointment of a Sales Director.

This is an opportunity to build a market and develop a portfolio of strategic client relationships, rather than simply focus on traditional new business sales. You’ll work with major end-brand clients, introducing tailored research and insight solutions and turning initial projects into long-term, multi-project partnerships.

To be considered, you must have experience selling customised qual and quant market research projects directly to end-brand clients, with exposure to solutions such as brand tracking, CX, concept and product testing, U&A, or product and innovation research.

Key responsibilities

• Build the UK market and win new strategic end-brand clients.

• Develop relationships with senior stakeholders across insight, marketing, strategy, innovation and customer intelligence.

• Shape initial research projects around clients’ business needs and identify opportunities for repeat business.

• Grow accounts across multiple projects, teams and potentially international markets.

• Qualify opportunities effectively, focusing on clients and projects that align with the business.

• Work closely with a dedicated research partner and delivery team, owning the commercial relationship while they support proposals and research delivery.

• Represent the business at industry events and help shape its approach to market growth.

About you

• 8+ years’ experience selling market research, insights or data services to large end-brand clients.

• A proven track record of building business where your employer’s brand was not already well established.

• Evidence of developing initial projects into long-term, multi-project or multi-country client relationships.

• Strong commercial judgement, consultative sales skills and credible knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research.

• An established network across the UK insights market, with European market knowledge advantageous.

• Comfortable working in a growing business where you can help shape the commercial approach.

This is a fully remote, full-time employee position with a competitive base salary, uncapped performance-related commission.

Regular travel to industry events is expected, globally.
