Tax And Statutory Reporting Controller

We are looking for Tax and Statutory Reporting Controller who will join a global Pharma company located in Krakow.

Responsibilities:

• Statutory Filings: Prepare annual financial statements in line with Local GAAP requirements for group legal entities.

• GAAP Reconciliation: Ensure reconciliation between Local GAAP and US GAAP.

• Audit Coordination: Manage statutory calendars, working with auditors and departments. Own the process of addressing auditors’ requests.

• Tax Compliance: Assist with tax provisions and returns.

• Policy Implementation: Implement accounting policies/standards.

• Improvement Initiatives: Identify and drive process improvements.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Master's degree in Finance/Accounting.

• Experience: 5+ years financial accounting in international settings; statutory accounts hands on knowledge. Auditor experience is a plus.

• Certification: IFRS accounting/ACCA/CIMA (is a plus).

• Technical Skills: Excel and SAP proficiency.

• Language Skills: English required; other languages an asset.
